One Day in Metropia ist das zweite Gesicht von Kern. Beide Projekte kennt man in Dresdens Auskenner-Kreisen unter der Hand seit Jahren durch qualitativ unumstrittene Tracks zwischen der britischen Warp-Rephlex-Planet µ-Schule und dem Electro-Techno-Ansatz von UR, Drexciya oder dem Direct Beat-Label. Besonders wichtig ist Kern sein Liveset, bei dem seine Tracks zu einem Freudenfeuerwerk für alle Beteiligten verschmelzen. Zwar hat er einige Tracks für die Dresdner Netlabels Sleepy City und Phonocake beigesteuert, das längst überfällige Vinyl-Release kommt aber erst jetzt auf der dritten Uncanny Valley.

One Day in Metropia is Kern’s second face. Both projects are well known in Dresden’s inner circle of experts for indisputable high-quality tracks between the Warp-Rephlex-Planet µ-scene and the Electro-Techno-approach of UR, Drexciya or the Direct Beat-Label. Always focussing on his live set, in which he creates a perfect symbiosis of tailor-made tracks to maximize the pleasure for both him and his audience. He has already contributed some tracks to Dresden’s netlabels Phonocake and Sleepy City but gives his long overdue vinyl debut only now with his track on the latest Uncanny Valley compilation.
