Dresden’s Uncanny Valley continues its eclectic, entertaining approach to house with local lad Sandrow M’s debut 12-inch. The lead track is less strict 4/4, more smoky, vocal pop, dusted with jazzy electric piano, wobbly synths and a coconut shell gallop. “Facerunner” couldn’t be more different—trippy house that folds back into itself like a Gordian knot. It’s the sort of thing that might float DJ Harvey’s cosmic boat….
