After Monomood and Kryptic Universe shtum continues its way through dark and gritty territories with its third record by Yør. It’s the first record for Hamburg’s Techno wizard on another label than his home base Purple Maze. And what he delivers is pure Techno bliss.
“Nachtwache” starts things off rather relaxed with its Tom-heavy beats and the rising synths. Also, “Ritus” is advanced Techno you cannot help but dance to. This chord delay is so hypnotic.
On the flipside the music is even more bewitching. “Agony” takes an effect like an undertow on the dancers. Be careful! This is music you can get lost into. Finally, “Under The Influence” is no less mesmerizing but more ludic Techno. It’s a track that feels like a storm is coming.
